ISB Term 4 – PhotoWalk

Term 4 was unarguably the WORST term at ISB. The subjects (barring INVA) were absolutely useless, there was no point in studying them. I don’t understand why all the useless subjects were concentrated in one term. If you have to have these subjects – at least spread them out over the rest of the terms – better still – make them electives – let the people who want them take them.

However – as usual – this blog is never about studies, it’s about the fun I had during the term. Though I must confess – the term was a major disappointment otherwise too.

Ashish’s birthday had come during the term break – and though we celebrated it in style in Dandeli, the official dunking happened once we came back. The weather was not too cold, and the entire gang was in the pool. We dunked and dunked and dunked:

And of-course there was cake

Then came Jasmine’s birthday – though we did spare her the cake-pack and made do with just a cherry on her nose J

One of the random parties – fun, though don’t remember the theme:

Another thing that happened during the term was the slew of competitions that came our way – and even I went out to participate in a couple. Following was my team for the Darden Innovation Challenge:

Relay Race:

One of the milestones of our times at ISB included the formal launch of the “D-Company” T-shirts – don’t ask me what the “D” stands for – most of the batch thinks its Delhi, but then I’m not from Delhi; it started off as Dushyant – but now its just “D” and the D-shirts were amazing.

Normally I don’t put in anything even remotely close to classes – but the following incident has to be mentioned. In our SAIT class, we were given voting buttons, and small pop-quizes were part of the curriculum. In the last class, our section decided that we would press A for all the questions and following is the result of one of the questions. This happened despite the fact that many times the answer was definitely not A, but our section came through and gave the class an A.

Another T-shirt launch was our section T-shirt – the rest of the batch had drab colours like blue, black, grey . .. . – We had RED!! Great T-shirts, great fun:

Following the official launch, we had another photo session for those who missed the night sojourn.
